  TOAD AVOIDANCE TRAINING

On Saturday August 1st, 2009, Partners was filmed doign a toad avoidance session for our clients.

This story ran on Channel 15 at 6.00 pm.

Training Director Leighton Oosthuisen was interviewed, with trainers Stephanie, Julie and Stephany shown handling dogs.

Client Barry Atkins was also interviewed as his dogs were poisoned by a River Toad about a year ago, and survived only because of his quick action.

We were especially proud to have been selected by Channel 15, as to our knowledge this is the first time toad avoidance has been shown on TV.

Thanks to everyone at Channel 15 for showing an interest in this very important safety issue.

Snake strike, dogs, rattlesnake training  

AS SEEN ON TV
Partners recently did a news story with AzCentral and the Arizona Republic Newspaper on our snake proofing program. Over a period of a few days they filmed and photographed a number of dogs being trained. They also interviewed people who have gone through the terror of having their dogs bitten.
Check out this amazing video on the program, and be sure to pass this along to any friends that may still have reservations about training their dogs.

Channel 5 in Phoenix recently featured a story on Partners Dog Training.
In the story Leighton Oosthuisen "broke" into a number of peoples homes to see if their untrained dogs would protect their premises.
Not one did.
The same scenario was run on a home protected by a dog trained by Partners, and the dog attacked and held Leighton until being called off by the owner,
While this was a surprise to all the pet owners involved, it proves the point that unless a dog is correctly trained to protect, they will simply watch the intruder, or worse, run away.

A woman died in Chino Valley after being bitten by a Mohave Rattlesnake. This bite could have been prevented if she had had a dog that had been trained to avoid rattlesnakes.
We offer our condolences to her family.

Partners and Ray Herndon, famous for his connection with the Handlebar J restaurant club in Scottsdale, filmed a music video in which a number of the trainers and dogs were featured.
